So I am analyzing a video today. The speaker in this video is actually an actress named Kate Miles, but the facts about produce and its marketing are 100% real. The audience is also real, and thus the looks of disgust, too. She basically tells all these people she is giving the presentation to that she is going to tell them all the secrets on how to sell food to consumers with labels. She goes through the entire video acting as an advertiser and telling them that they must wait for the third step becasue it is the most important and that she is going to spoil it and tell all of them at the end. She does the entire performance with a smile on her face and then after she eases into the horrific evidence of caged animals, like pigs and chickens, she tells them the third step on selling the products is "you." And she says that the reason it is all possible, is simply because we all choose to look the other way. She then says thank you and walks off and not a single person says anything or claps or anything. I think it was handled perfect and she did an amazing job of getting the audience confused and into the presentation so the end result would make a bigger impact.
